flatulence man, beware
flatulence man.... now, i know new zealand is not known for setting global political policy precedent, but this one, i dunno - i mean, it totally makes sense to me, at least in its application. being that hk is in such economic straits, they might just consider this... here's a strange fact about nz... they are proposing to introduce a flatulence tax on its livestock 'gas emissions'. yes, i'm serious!... did u know that 55% of the country's greenhouse gas emissions come from cow and sheep farts? this bill is dubbed the 'fart tax' - but wait! it's not like that... fart is an acronym - Farm Aroma Reduction Tax! hehehe...
hk might well serve to take heed. with polluters such as flatulence man all flatulating around the city - one could impose a citizens arrest and fine him! (they estimate the tax would cost US$170, HK$1350 / annum to farmers)... so you know, if catch 3 perpetrators a day, that's $4,000 buckaroos toward the gov't coffers!!!! wat a great idea. please fart in private only!!!!!
