my colleague and buddy in shanghai IM'd me last nite, and said - you gotta check this out... i hope it doesn't offend you, but i just got this.

little did i know it turned out to be the beheading video of the berg guy from philly by those al qaeda. man - that was quite the shocker. when i opened it, and saw him sitting there in his orange prisoner's jumpsuit... i was like 'oh no'...

anyway - me n him chatted a bit over it. i'm not squimish bout these things - but just knowing that people do this while yelling "god is great" really irks me. fanaticals can go both ways - and i'm sure those who have read about the crusades will know that it goes both ways.

*sigh*... it's such a violent world. the middle east is all screwed up....

well - i'm off to din for my bro's bday dinner!
