you gotta love them canadians (no... this is NOT a canada rant!!). canadian golfer mike weir is the current holder of the master's trophy - which is one of the 4 'major' tournaments played in the year. anyway, despite being the youngest of the 4, it is arguably the most prestigious, and heaped with tradition. one of these is the annual champions dinner, attended by ALL the past master's champs, and where the defending champ gets to choose the menu for the group. when tiger woods won his first, he choose cheeseburgers, sushi, and milkshakes. in 1988, a scot won, and served haggis (EW!!!!). this year? the menu's gonna be: wild boar and chanterelle mushroom bundles; roasted rack of caribou and british columbia mushrooms; and canadian wine and beer... i mean, do canadians really eat wild boar and caribou? is molson's really canadian for beer (cause i hear foster's definitely is not oz for beer!)??
