relaxation!!!

wow... it's been so long, but it's been so great. the past 3 weeks have just been a mess of a blur. all the preparation leading up to the 180 cebu mission trip was intense enuf. then the trip itself was just AWESOME. here are some pics - finally!

altho there was a small team going, God had made it clear that there would be none lacking. from the 'wealthy' school outreaches to the street evangelism/feeding programs, to the mountain village trek - it was just a great time to witness God's presence in the lives of people who you would never really imagine could experience. i just gotta say that i'm extremely blessed to have opportunities to serve in that capacity!

it would be a total waste if i couldn't then take that experience back to HK. i'm so focused now on wanting to reach out to my own community here... next week is the start of my young professionals group. it's like mired in church politics right now, but i have faith they will see the light. but not even the church can stop God's plan! it's going ahead regardless. i've put 6 months of focused thought into how, when, what, where.. watever this ministry is going to be - i've prayed about direction and purpose. and i believe it's been given to me. it's gonna be awesome to see God moving in the biz community in HK!

i'm glad i can get a rest from 'everything' the next 2 w/ends. this w/end i'm off to nansha for a golf tourney. i haven't had a real chance to get away and take time off and stuff. next week will be taiwan! it'll be my first time there, so i'm extra-jacked for it!

otherwise - God has been so great in my life. i mean, how can i not complain about sitting in my office at noon, typing on my brand new Apple Powerbook G4, eating a moroccan chicken wrap and split pea soup from kosmo, washing down w/a diet vanilla coke... how ideal is that?
