my last entry of 2003.... wat a great year it's been. there are times when i just feel satisfied that i had been sufficiently challenged, and this was definitely one of those years. who woulda thunk i'd have ended up where i am today? not me, that's fer sure... however, the new year does not come w/out a new wish list for '04:
- a new set of clubs (MP-33 for only HK$4,800 baby!!!)
- a 15" powerbook - altho i'd settle for 14?
- an ipod would be nice
- shed another 10 lbs doing the dumbest diet possible...
- a vacation or sumthin to se asia
- a new digital camera
yadayadayada... yeah - thems the things i want.... as for things i need - i praise God that there really isn't too much on that palette. i been so blessed this year - being in beijing in the beg of the year w/an incredible opportunity to see a whole lot of beijing [and learn some mandarin], time off to actually watch tv, landed a great job [that makes me feel stooopit], moved out to da cwb, and be blessed with an amazing fellowship at the vine & 180... so the next year, who knows? i've gotten to the point where i really don't know what i actually need, which is kinda weird. i'm perfectly content at this point to take wat's been given, and making it multiply - as in next year, me n D gonna move into a 1800 SF apt!!! hahahaha - then we can resurrect sunday surrender and put it in our place - of course, we will have to accept a donation of a mini studio to make the sounds lively!
one thing i also got around doing this last day of the year is to update some pics!!!! here are some teasers:
tonite - it's off to the methodist church for THIRST!!! thirst... wat an apropos name. bringing in a new year - more thirst, more hunger, more longing to be in His presence. thirst for God's Word. thirst for God's Grace. thirst for God's blessings. nothing more.. and definitely nothing less. wat more to life can there possibly be? i think i'm the most blessed person on earth... ehehe !!! :) yep, that's me...
