insomnia

i'm sitting here at like 4:22am, not really knowing what the ()#$@!)($! is going on... i haven't really slept in 36 hours, just an hour here a few mins there. flying always messes my body up. i have this stinging head/neck-ache - and am just generally annoyed at my inability to sleep! ugh.... the flight here was ok - but i mean, how good can flights go??? i wish i was like derek - lovin every moment of flying. i used to love it when i was a kid, but somehow that's changed in the past 5 years or so. oh wells.... guess i'll have to deal! got such a rough schedule coming up to:

fri - 6:50am tee-time at eagle ridge golf club
fri - 6pm - pre-wedding dinner at some korean place, and fun fun fun after (altho i'm pretty sure i'm not there for that)
sat - 11:30am - brunch, then movie till
sat - 3:00pm - wedding n fun
sun - 7:00am - tee time at poppy hills golf club
sun nite - more fun blah....
mon - fly home! if i can get on a plane!

sounds like it's just fun - but not really if u consider a lack of sleep. i mean - even as i type this, i'm feeling so tired, but i can't even keep my eyes closed. so strange. i'm still on 7:30pm hk time. i guess i should just burn myself all out and sleep on the plane ride home????????

foods eaten:
breakfast - jamba juice - mango-a-go-go
lunch - in-n-out - double-double combo meal
dinner - baja fresh - steak baja burrito n chips n salsa

this is wat one comes to america for. no - it's not the land of opportunity a la arnold schwartzenegger.... no it's not the freedom a la democracy... no it's not the apple pie a la mode. it's the fast food. if you've ever had an in-n-out burger, or a jamba juice, u'd know exactly what i mean. i won't even go into the baja fresh burrito... next stop - krispy kreme and stan's donuts!!!! then somewhere along the way - gotta hit the hotdog stand - full on sauerkraut n mustard deal! yeah... shaddup - i'm going running when i get back!

that and driving cars. wat freedom it was today to drive a car on the highways yesterday - windows down, sunroof open, and uncle joe blaring in the back. all this with 80 degree (25-26 C) DRY weather... sooo nice.... i love driving in open space!

nuthin else going on here... seems like i just left here yesterday - t'was almost 1 year to the date whence i left this exact spot i'm sitting in right now typing this stooopid entry. my brain was turned off the minute i stepped outta the office wed nite... so now - *sigh* - have to go brainless for the next weeek. anyway - at least i updated w/something.

i miss hk... hk is my home... hehehe
